FAQS

No, we welcome both registered and non-registered patients for emergency appointments.

The cost of an emergency dental appointment can be found on our fees page. The cost of your dental treatment can vary depending on the problem and any treatment required.

We will always explain any costs clearly before starting treatment.

We aim to provide immediate relief and may begin treatment during your emergency appointment. However, some treatments may require a follow-up visit depending on complexity.

No, a dental infection will not go away without treatment. While symptoms may temporarily improve, the infection will remain. Our dentists can give you full detailed advice during your appointment.

If you experience pain, trauma, swelling, or damage to a tooth, contact the practice as soon as possible. Our team will assess your situation and arrange an urgent appointment where needed.

During your appointment, the dentist will:

  • Examine the problem
  • Identify the cause
  • Relieve pain where possible
  • Explain your options

The priority is to get you comfortable and stabilise the issue.

Tooth pain can feel worse at night because lying down increases blood flow to the head, which can increase pressure in the affected tooth. There are also fewer distractions, making the pain feel more intense.

I was concerned about having my tooth out under local anaesthetic, but I didn’t need to worry as Jack was really patient and made sure I couldn’t feel a thing before he started to extract my tooth. I had an episode at the beginning of the procedure where my bad gag reflex kicked in and I wanted to be sick and this was handled very kindly and well by the team in the surgery.

I’ve just left the clinic after avoiding the dentist for 10+ years due to nerves. As expected I needed a considerable amount of work doing; 6 fillings and a hygiene. I made the ladies aware I was super nervous (even for a checkup). Rahini and Lexie were super professional and calming, they made me feel at ease and able to continue with all the treatments in one appointment. I was embarrassed about the work I needed doing to my teeth, but the ladies made me feel anything other when I visited them in the clinic. Also my hygienist was so calm and informative. What a great team you have. Thank you so much for fixing my teeth!!
