Are you looking for fuller more shapely or proportional lips? Have you always dreamed of having that ‘cupids bow’? At The Parks Skin Clinic, we tailor all our results to each patients’ individual needs and concerns. Using the most advanced techniques from training all over the world, our Clinical Lead Amy offers many forms of lip enhancements from subtle and more natural effects to a more glamourous fuller lip.
Too many people believe lip enhancement (more commonly referred to as lip fillers) are only for the younger generation and are only for bigger, fuller lips, or perhaps concerned they will have noticeably over filled lips. However, at The Parks Skin Clinic we treat many more mature patients as well as the younger, in helping to restoring lost volume, achieving a natural, youthful yet natural result.
Lip fillers are created using different types of hyaluronic acid (HA), a gel like substance that is injected to add volume, hydration and shape. Hyaluronic acid is found naturally in our bodies and is what keeps our skin looking firm and plump. As we age our natural HA breaks down, resulting in visible lines, lost volume and smaller lips. Some of us are blessed with naturally full lips, however for those who haven’t, we can add HA to the lips to add the shape and volume you have always dreamed of.
HA whether natural or injected, is broken down by the body enzymes, and fillers tend to last between 6-18 months depending on the type, brand and thickness used.
All aesthetics medicine treatments would require a consultation costing £25 to discuss suitability.
The Parks Skin Clinic are the main medical training providers in facial aesthetics in Hull and East Yorkshire. We train only the most medically trained professionals nationwide in the art of safe and natural dermal fillers, having carried out thousands of lip augmentations over the last 10+ years. This is what has helped earn our excellent reputation for lip fillers in Hull and Beverley.
We use the UK’s leading brand Juvederm UK to achieve harmonious, proportional and softer results, as well as other products to give more voluminous looking results. Each treatment is tailored to you and the results that you are looking for.
We always like to give the patient ample amount of time to consider having their treatment (s) done, this can be from days to weeks ,to make sure what has been discussed is the right options for you. Every individual likes a different result and our Clinical Lead Amy is very versatile in all the different injection techniques from training with many different aesthetics providers worldwide and loves to create more soft, harmonious results.
All patients also get a mini Vaseline to help with moisturising and to aid with aftercare advice.
Like any injectable there is always some discomfort, we always use topical, prescription strength numbing cream to help minimise the discomfort of the treatment. The procedure lasts just minutes and most patients tolerate the process with minimal discomfort. We offer needle and cannula techniques depending on the look and end result clients are wishing for.
Depending on the type of filler used will depend on the longevity of the results. The fillers we use in the lip tissue are broken down naturally by the body, gradually over 9-12 months. Patients usually attend every 6-12 months to maintain their results.
This would always vary on each patient and the desired outcome. Each patient hopes to achieve a different result, achieved by using different products and varying techniques to suit each patient. Certain patients may need more than one treatment to achieve their designed result which would be performed at intervals of 4-6 weeks until the end results were achieved.
