Kingswood Parks Clinics are one of very few sites to offer skin analysis. Many people don’t know what the skin analysis machine is; it is a high-tech machine that allows us to look under the skin to determine how healthy the skin is and if there are any skin concerns. The purpose of a skin analysis consultation is to identify improvements to be made to a skin regime with photo-technology.
If you’re serious about your skin health and want to know whether the products that you’re using are working, then having a skin analysis done, ensures that you have a full understanding what is needed. We see lots of different skin concerns, types and conditions, so can feel assured using the analysis, you will be provided with an accurate, bespoke treatment plan.
What does it do?
The machine has many different features; it creates customised reports and documents progress with easy to understand information, which is beneficial in patient education and treatment planning.
It easily captures consistent, repeatable facial images with the 3D visual tools and side by side comparisons.
The process also develops more treatment programs and tracks progress over time, allowing us to stay closely connected with the patient.
The imaging grades individual’s skin features relative to others of the same age and skin type, and includes RGB+UV+PL – 3 spectrum imaging.
The quality is incredible using 10 inch high definition imaging and a 180 degree turnover touch screen, with a 2000W high resolution digital camera to achieve clear and precise images.
The process is efficient too; with full face skin imaging creating 10 facial reports in only 20 seconds.
What is the consultation process?
While a visual consultation is sufficient for many treatments, many people don’t realise how ‘good or bad’ their skin can actually be, I feel having a skin analysis consultation will 100% make you want to go ahead and book treatment after seeing your results.
Please allow up to 1 hour for the appointment as we talk about all aspects of the skin; this includes the percentage of open pores, congestion areas, amount of fine lines and wrinkles, areas of pigmentation on all layers of the skin, blackheads, moisture, texture, and UV damage.
There are a number of treatments we offer for all the above skin concerns such as chemical peels, Microneedling, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, fibroblast skin tightening, anti-wrinkle injections, skin boosters, dermal fillers and even a thread lift. But don’t feel like you have to have all or even any of them. We are here to provide you with options, so you can make the choices and changes that are right for you!
Should you proceed with a course of treatment or even after making changes to your at home skin care routine, another skin analysis is always recommended just so you can be shown how effective the changes have been. Along with most courses of treatment a strict skincare routine is recommended; we always say if you do 50% at home with a good skincare routine, drinking plenty of water and a healthy diet then we will do the remaining 50% with treatments. This is so you get the full benefits to achieving great skin!
The team here at Kingswood Parks Clinics love the skin analysis machine and years ago when we first started to use it, we were so surprised of the uses, having never thought a machine could give so much detail in the layers of your skin and correctly diagnose skin concerns.
